Welcome parents and students! I would like to thank you for letting me be a part of your child’s education. I am looking forward to an absolutely wonderful and exciting school year! I look forward to meeting all of you. In order for us to maintain a high-quality and positive learning environment, the students must value and follow the same rules. As long as we work together, I know we will have a fabulous and fun ELA and Social Studies learning experience. We will work very hard to build a strong foundation through class discussions, group-work, classwork and homework assignments. These techniques help retain concepts as well as reach new heights in ELA and Social Studies.
Because our concepts build upon one another, students must be present in class daily and not skip any assignments. When students work for something, they seem to take more pride in their accomplishments as you will see through our ELA journey. We have a lot to learn, but we will be able to accomplish it all together! If you have any concerns, please feel free to contact me. Great communication is paramount to your child’s success. I am really excited about our new year; it will be terrific!
Mrs. Jarek, your ELA/Social Studies Teacher
