Here is information regarding important aspects of our classroom and the Visual art program.
In my program I incorporate various types of art in an historical as well as contemporary context. I focus on design and origins of fiber arts with a cultural emphasis. My curriculum includes interdisciplinary focus, alignment with the N.Y.S. visual arts standards and the Common Core. My goal is to establish a firm foundation in the fundamentals of Art education, while keeping on top of influential and positive new art forms, cultural changes and stylistic nuances.

90-100= A Portfolio 50%
80-89= B Class Procedure 25%
70-79= C Assignments 25%
Project Expectation Each project will be based on 4 categories
* Creativity/ Originality * Meets/ exceeds objectives for the lesson
* Neat in craftsmanship * Completion of project
Pencils, eraser, section in binder or folder with loose leaf paper, paper towels, baby wipes, tissues, magazines, ordinary objects for still life drawings, Prismacolor colored pencils, safety scissors, Elmer’s glue & glue stick, Crayola markersExtra items needed: magazines for collage, newspapers, tissues, paper towels, hand sanitizer
